Etymology

A variant form of чушка́н (čuškán), from чу́шка (čúška, piglet).

Repopularised by the 2023 series Слово пацана. Кровь на асфальте (The Word of a Boy. Blood on the Asphalt), centred around youth gangs in Kazan in the late 1980s.
