- (Islam) People of the Book (Jews and Christians according to all Muslims schools; some also include other monotheistic creeds as well).
- 609–632 CE, Qur'an, 4:171:
- يَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ لَا تَغْلُوا فِي دِينِكُمْ وَلَا تَقُولُوا عَلَى اللَّهِ إِلَّا الْحَقَّ
- yā ʔahla l-kitābi lā taḡlū fī dīnikum walā taqūlū ʕalā l-lahi ʔillā l-ḥaqqa
