Borrowed from Mazanderani توسکا (tuskā), تسکا (teskā), توسا (tusā), تسا (tosā, alder). Apparently ultimately Mongolic, Mongolian хус (xus, birch), with the ending ـا () as in many Mongolic nouns auslauting in -аа (-aa); correspondingly, Persian قان (qân, birch) is from Turkic.
