From Aramaic שַׁדֵּר (šaddir, to release, send forth), from Akkadian [Term?]; compare Arabic سَدَرَ (sadara) and Hebrew שִׁדֵּר (shidér, to broadcast).

  1. (transitive) to send, send out, dispatch, post (a person, a message, etc.)
    ܡܫܘܼܕܸܪ ܠܹܗ ܐܸܓܲܪܬ݂ܵܐ ܐܸܠܝܼ.mšūdir lēh iggarṯā ilī.He sent me a letter.
