Inherited from Old Marathi 𑘭𑘽𑘥𑘪𑘜𑘹 (saṃbhavaṇe), from Maharastri Prakrit 𑀲𑀁𑀪𑀯𑀇 (saṃbhavaï), from Sanskrit संभवति (saṃbhavati).[1]
