Usage notes

[edit]
  • In careful language, 추후 (追後, chuhu), which refers to a later point from the perspective of some earlier event, is to be distinguished from 차후 (此後, chahu, “in the future”), which refers to the future from the perspective of the present (the current moment of speech). The distinction is sometimes not understood by speakers.
