Native language vs. Official language

I got a doubt: I added Cuneo (and some time ago Alghero as well) to Category:en:Exonyms and Category:it:Exonyms as Italian isn't originally the native language of those cities. But since the official names are in Italian (and not Piedmontese or Catalan), should I consider them not to be exonyms?
