Reconstruction talk:Proto-Germanic/bastaz

Isn't non:bast from gml:bast? My source says 'etymology uncertain'. But gem-pro:*bastaz would yield non:*bastr directly. It seems more likely that non:bast went through Middle Low German. --ContraVentum (talk) 20:53, 13 July 2015 (UTC)
