For the pronounciation, shouldn't it be /ˈɸɑ.dɛːr/? Verner's law dictates that this should be the case.

The English fricative in "father" rose as a sound change in Middle English. Don't know about Old Norse though. Strombones (talk) 00:07, 26 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
