Source for ⇑ ⤊ ⟰ and ⇓ ⤋ ⟱[edit]

The arrows ⇑ ⤊ ⟰ and ⇓ ⤋ ⟱ are found in the same source as the ad hoc Go symbols , , , . As the latter symbols are only attested from that source, according to people who have searched the Unicode documents (see the sources in the notation section of w:Go_(game)), it is possible that the motivation for including these multiple arrows is at least partially that source or the one it was based on (John Conway, per Berlekamp & Wolfe (1994:18)). If they have other uses as well, which are too much to squeeze in here, we might want to split them off into their own articles. kwami (talk) 10:34, 17 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
