Does anyone actually pronounce the -mouth as məθ?
[edit]I know it is standard for names ending in -mouth (Monmouth, bournemouth) but I’ve never heard it before personally Transient Being (talk) 15:43, 18 March 2024 (UTC)
- Not sure. But I just clicked around YouTube and the first few that I found are "mouth" like the body part, not /məθ/. e.g. [1] and [2]. Equinox ◑ 15:46, 18 March 2024 (UTC)
