I don't think that many people pronounce the word like /ˈbeɪzɪən/ , but rather like /ˈbeɪʒən/ or /ˈbeɪʒɪən/. I believe that we can keep the current pronunciation but these alternative one's appear to be significantly more common. BlastKast (talk) 00:56, 6 November 2020 (UTC)
- I have now added /ˈbeɪʒən/, which I have definitely heard (though it's not how I say it myself). Not sure about the logic behind /ˈbeɪʒɪən/ (Asian isn't /ˈeɪʒɪən/!) and haven't heard that one. Equinox ◑ 01:07, 6 November 2020 (UTC)
