can species names be derived terms?[edit]
Im guessing not, but if we were to make pages for Chlamydia abortus and Brucella abortus, two unrelated pathogens both known to cause abortion, would we consider them to be derived from the standalone word abortus? If so, would they be English or Latin? I've got no plans to do this, but Im just idly wondering. Thanks, —Soap— 07:15, 14 August 2023 (UTC)
