Electronics sense

[edit]

Starting around the 1950s, electronics manufacturers started sealing resistors, capacitors &c. into monolithic ceramic packages they called "couplets"; a sort of early integrated circuit. They're not used anymore, but they were common enough that anyone reading about old electronics would eventually come across it. Not really sure how exactly to phrase it, nor what kind of source to use to back it up though. Someone a little more experienced should consider adding it in!
