Plural form

[edit]

Is the plural form of cyclops "cyclops" or "Cyclopes"? 13:15, 27 February 2010 (UTC)

According to Merriam-Webster, "cyclopes" is the plural form of the Greek one-eyed giants or of any one-eyed individual or fetus where the eye orbits have fused; "cyclops" is the plural for the genus of one-eyed copepods Cyclops. Donperk (talk) 19:37, 19 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
