Seems to be Middle English only. The citations in the Dictionary of Medical Vocabulary in English, 1375–1550 are all from before 1500 (indeed, from before 1476), our cutoff for Middle vs Modern English. - -sche (discuss) 00:32, 24 March 2017 (UTC)
