It's one word in virtually all of the other languages in the translations table (information which cannot be anywhere else). At this point, keep in the phrasebook until we develop a policy on "translation targets". - -sche (discuss) 11:37, 14 September 2011 (UTC)

Oh, the entries in other languages (eg Pelz) can certainly link to [[separate]] [[words]]; the problem is that there's no one place to collect all of the translations. We should develop an official policy to keep SOP phrases as phrasebook translation targets in such cases, or to allow non-English entries to have translations sections (like on de.Wikt), or to make clear that we are OK with not having Pelz and шуба collected anywhere. - -sche (discuss) 12:12, 14 September 2011 (UTC)

If a coat had fur on the outside, I'd call it a fur coat, but if the fur was on the inside, I'd call it a fur-lined coat. Fugyoo 21:27, 19 October 2011 (UTC)

My sense is the same as Fugyoo's. Further, a coat with fur on the outside, but of a different cut than a Marilyn Monroe-type fur coat, I would expect to be called by some other name. DCDuring TALK 21:43, 19 October 2011 (UTC)

What else would you call it? (Also, a coat that is fur-lined is not usually made entirely from fur.) I do see what you mean about the two-word term conjuring up a particular image, though. Dbfirs 14:05, 21 October 2011 (UTC)
