Chambers 1908 also defines the word as "retrograde metamorphosis, catabolism" and "complete metamorphosis, as in Diptera, etc.". Are these distinct from what we have? Obsolete? Equinox ◑ 15:57, 24 February 2019 (UTC)Reply
