Pulse

[edit]
  • Pulse - Not the whole entry, just the music entry, which I have commented out. It has been quoted from a 1975 source, which makes it a likely copyvio. — Paul G 10:06, 15 Nov 2004 (UTC)
    • ibid. Eclecticology 21:41, 22 Nov 2004 (UTC)
      • What does ibid. mean? Polyglot 14:46, 13 Dec 2004 (UTC)
        • ibid. is a standard abbreviation for the Latin ibidem meaning "the same". It is most often used in academic footnotes to indicate that something is from the same place as the previous footnote. Eclecticology 03:53, 28 Dec 2004 (UTC)
  • This seems more like rfc, or justfixit. -dmh 06:22, 4 Jan 2005 (UTC)
    • I've looked at this again. The quote was adequately referenced. It's what fair use is all about. I would keep it. Eclecticology 03:11, 6 Jan 2005 (UTC)
      • I agree with Eclecticology (it was bound to happen sooner or later :-) -dmh 05:14, 6 Jan 2005 (UTC)

RFC: music copyvio

[edit]

This term was discussed on RFC because its definition copied information from a copyrighted source. Please see this discussion. — Beobach 22:57, 3 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

"deleted extra etymology"

[edit]

Just venting, but oy, is this really the way we used to do things round here? Ten years this page has well-meaningly asserted something false which it had right for a period in 2004. 4pq1injbok (talk) 14:31, 21 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Further reading

[edit]

In the second etymology (pulse = legume), is the further reading (Wikipedia pulse) necessary? It has nothing to do with the entry. I think the further reading reference should be to Wikipedia Legume. Caeruleancentaur (talk) 16:54, 7 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
