An analogue of f-word but for censored/oblique reference to words starting with x. Google Books hits are for a different, possible SOP, meaning or meanings. - -sche (discuss) 18:20, 10 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Surely a joke. I can't imagine any censorable word starting with x (until Xena Warrior Princess gets cancelled). Equinox 12:31, 12 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
"You put your x-word [xerox machine] away right now before I x-word [x-ray] you, mister!" (Yeah, I think it's just creative new trolling by the vandal who likes to edit the [letter]-word pages.) - -sche (discuss) 17:01, 12 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
Maybe it's a four-letter word so rude that even the xxxx version has to be meta-censored. Equinox 21:07, 12 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Discussing the RFV that has been put onto this page after I recreated it after the last RFV discussion. Xenophobia is an X word that can be censored depending on context, and there are currently five citations listed on the page. — This unsigned comment was added by 4hrue2kd83f (talkcontribs) at 02:15, 9 February 2023.

@4hrue2kd83f: There's a new RFV open at the moment at Wiktionary:Requests for verification/English#x-word if you'd like to comment there. —Al-Muqanna المقنع (talk) 10:14, 10 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Repost of material that previously failed verification. Has 3 citations, but 2 of them aren't durably archived. * Pppery * it has begun... 01:54, 5 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

I've added a "crossword" sense which I can cite if you like Drapetomanic (talk) 02:57, 5 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
Cited and added another sense from grammar teaching with citations. Given that all of the citations of sense 1 refer to xenophobia though it should probably just be defined as referring to xenophobia. —Al-Muqanna المقنع (talk) 09:48, 5 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
