Usage

[edit]

This template may be used in “References” and “Further reading” sections of Wiktionary entries, and on talk pages, to provide a citation to Alexander Souter’s A Glossary of Later Latin to 600 A.D. Souter was the first editor-in-chief of the projected Oxford Latin Dictionary, but died in 1949 before its completion. The Glossary of Later Latin was published posthumously from manuscripts that he left behind.

The template links to a copy of the Glossary of Later Latin at the Internet Archive, and will supply the correct page URL automatically if provided with a page number. However, the Internet Archive copy is currently non-free and must be borrowed to be viewed in full.

Parameters
