[edit]subtune (plural subtunes)
- A tune that makes up part of a larger musical work or collection of tunes.

- When we reach measure 17 (the first measure of the second “subtune”), the words “Always get” likewise receive an upward slide, but there are subtle changes (Example 15.2).
