- mallet
- doorknocker (device attached to a door, the sound of which when a visitor pounds it to the door raises attention so somebody opens the door)
- doorknob (circular device attached to a door, the rotation of which permits the unlatching of a door)
- a large wooden rod for pestle, used in conjunction with a large mortar of stone called dibek
