  1. (uncountable) practice (degree of being used to and proficient in some activity)
  2. (countable) practice; exercise; training; workout; drill; maneuver (the usually repeated performance of an activity for the sake of improvement and learning)
  3. (countable) a kind of university class where skills taught in lectures or seminars are exercised (similar to a Tutorium, but more likely to be obligatory and taught by proper staff)
