Etymology[edit]

Inherited from Old Ruthenian вылитисѧ (vylitisja).[1][2] By surface analysis, ви́лити (výlyty) +‎ -ся (-sja). Compare Russian вы́литься (výlitʹsja), Belarusian вы́ліцца (výlicca), Polish wylać się.
