Inherited from Proto-Turkic *sekiŕ *ōn (eighty), equivalent to саккӑр (sakkăr, eight) +‎ вуннӑ (vunnă, ten).[1]

Cognate with Turkish seksen, Uzbek sakson and Bashkir һикһән (hikhən).
