     قيسورا الفينك من قاطاجانس، وعن أهرن في موضع من كتابه: إنّه ضرب من زبد البحر، وهو في موضع آخر زبد البحر، والناس في القيشور على أنّه حجر البركان وهو الحجر الذي تنشر به الورّاقون الورق.

     Pumice is al-fīnak according to On the Composition of Drugs according to Kind. In a spot in Ahrun’s book it is a kind of foam of the sea, in another it is foam of the sea. People view it as a volcanic stone wherewith the paper makers straighten the paper.
