From Pali sucarita, from su (good; well) + carita (practice; performance; conduct; deed); or from Sanskrit सुचरित (sucarita), from सु (su, 'idem) + चरित (carita, idem); equivalent to Thai สุ () +‎ จริต (jà-rìt).
