Noun[edit]
빠다 • (ppada)
- (common in North Korea, dated in South Korea) butter
- Synonym: 버터 (beoteo)
Usage notes[edit]
- While ethnic Koreans in China (PRC) usually use North Korean forms of words, they appear to use 버터 (beoteo) instead of 빠다 (ppada), with many results for the former in Yŏnbyŏn Ilbo but zero for the latter.
