Gothic[edit]
Etymology[edit]
Borrowed from Latin november. Attested (with difficulty: the manuscript is a palimpsest) in the 5th/6th century AD Gothic Calendar. The existence of this word is contested due to its relative illegibility by Landau (2006); cf. the discussion at ๐พ๐น๐ฟ๐ป๐ด๐น๐ (jiuleis), the only other known possibly-attested month in Gothic.
