Etymology[edit]
Probably from an independent Proto-Basque verb *e-raz-i, itself the *-ra- causative of an unknown verb. The same *-ra- prefix is present in other verbs such as erabili (“to put into motion, to use”), from ibili (“to walk”).[1]

- agertu (“to appear”) + -arazi → agerrarazi (“to show”)
