Mistake

[edit]

Hey! Thanks for the great module. Very useful! I found a possible mistake, however. Maybe it's not a mistake, actually. Anyway, the page làrix automatically gave the plural làrixos, although the correct plural is làrixs. Perhaps there is a bug in the code, or some missing information. I'm guessing there may be others which have a similar mistake. --Type56op9 (talk) 10:57, 17 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

Yep, there is. linx had the same error. --Type56op9 (talk) 10:59, 17 February 2015 (UTC)Reply
It's not so easy. Words ending with -x make plural -xos if last syllabe is stressed and -xs if unstressed. Furthermore, there are some exceptions like "linx". Most make -xos and there is no way but to fix others with the apropiate parameter. --Vriullop (talk) 16:37, 19 February 2015 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for checking these! I appreciate it - I'm still learning Catalan, but after a year or so more here, I hope to be able to contribute more. --Type56op9 (talk) 15:52, 21 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

Indeclinable

[edit]

@Julia Pages with {{ca-adj}} are now displaying as indeclinable, as well as pages with an explicit feminine. See llarg and hipotecari. Ultimateria (talk) 22:33, 10 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

@Ultimateria: I'm honestly not sure what happened, the only thing I changed in the syntax was adding an "or" so I didn't have to go manually change the "inv"s. Pinging @Rua because she wrote the module (thanks in advance). Julia 01:19, 11 February 2020 (UTC)Reply
@Julia, Ultimateria: Fixed. feminine == "ind" or "inv" always evaluates as true in the if-condition because it is equivalent to (feminine == "ind") or "inv" and a string value is always truthy. — Eru·tuon 01:54, 11 February 2020 (UTC)Reply
