@Calak, can you find the modern spelling of Kurdish katar, found in Jaba, Auguste, Justi, Ferdinand (1879) Dictionnaire Kurde-Français [Kurdish–French Dictionary], Saint Petersburg: Imperial Academy of Sciences, page 321a? --Vahag (talk) 19:32, 5 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

It is katar.--Calak (talk) 20:03, 5 January 2019 (UTC)Reply
@Calak, thanks. But does it really mean "comb, crest"? I only found the meaning "back of the neck" in a modern dictionary. --Vahag (talk) 21:41, 5 January 2019 (UTC)Reply
Yes it means "comb, crest", found it in Kurdistan dictionary.--Calak (talk) 21:51, 5 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

@Fay Freak, can you please check the spelling and the meaning of the Arabic word on this page? --Vahag (talk) 21:41, 5 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

Yes, Freytag, Georg (1837) “كَتْرٌ”, in Lexicon arabico-latinum praesertim ex Djeuharii Firuzabadiique et aliorum Arabum operibus adhibitis Golii quoque et aliorum libris confectum[1] (in Latin), volume 4, Halle: C. A. Schwetschke, page 8b, but I am absolutely unable to find a use of this word and hence won’t create it. Fay Freak (talk) 00:07, 6 January 2019 (UTC)Reply
