@Equinox: Really? I'd never figured that, and I took instances of bump in this sense to be just laziness re capitalising acronyms and initialisms in informal contexts. Please feel free to correct the entry in whatever way you see fit. — I.S.M.E.T.A. 14:57, 18 June 2016 (UTC)

I don't really see the point of listing folk etymologies. It somehow seems to legitimise them. What do you want to say? "The supposed etymology Council House and Vulgar has no basis!" Okay. Anyway, add it if you really want! Equinox ◑ 23:53, 23 June 2016 (UTC)
