Indo-Iranian?

[edit]

Are we certain that deksan is derived from an Indo-Iranian language, and not, perhaps, a Germanic language (e.g. tehun), a Balto-Slavic language (e.g. dešimt), or some other Indo-European language? Jackwolfroven (talk) 20:17, 28 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

Ety

[edit]

The ety text is confused. What is "due"`? What is the empty hint to Indo-European ten? 2A02:8108:9640:AC3:C000:C039:B2F8:2233 10:02, 7 February 2021 (UTC) Rather, Uralina might not have had numbers 8,9,10 (cf. many Australian languages), and constructed it with help of their own 1, 2 and ie dekm with genitive ending.2A02:8108:9640:AC3:C000:C039:B2F8:2233 10:02, 7 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

"due" is part of "due to". Its meaning is clear from the context. I don't know what you are referring to with "empty hint to Indo-European ten". — surjection??10:43, 7 February 2021 (UTC)Reply
