This article seems to be a complete nonsense. The noun has nothing to do with Romani [sic] - as is stated, it is a short form of 'narcotics agent'.

The verb is probably derived from the noun; I can't imagine how the putative derivation for the Romani [sic] nak is valid.

I think there is more than one etymology here, the 'annoy' sense won't be from the same etymology as the narcotics agent sense. Also I don't know why you put 'Romani [sic]' as Romani is a real word. Mglovesfun (talk) 09:17, 1 September 2012 (UTC)Reply
