Can anyone explain why "Serbo-Croatian" is still here? Czech and Slovak, different. Norwegian and Danish, different.

The word for teacher, for example, is different. They've been thrown together with no indication which terms are used by Croats and which by Serbs.

I'm sure it's been discussed before, but even if for half the words, the term is the same, why wouldn't you have separate translations for them?
