- A taxonomic superfamily within the order Squamata – some fossorial snakes, called blind snakes.
Usage notes
[edit]Sometimes excluded, the families being classified within Scolecophidia. Scolecophidia is also sometimes excluded (but not both). When both are used, Scolecophidia is monotypic.
