Hi, please cease adding pronunciations to Proto-Slavic reconstructions. These are not actually spoken words, reconstructions are phonemic transcriptions by definitions, and retranscriptions such as */o/ > [ɔ] are just subjective value judgements of varying degrees of speculation.

Additionally, Proto-Slavic (Common Slavic) postdates Proto-Germanic by many centuries, so direct borrowings are improbable. Etymologies which prefer a particular donor language, such as for cěsarjь, are preferable. And, even when no donor language can be ascertained, that should be written in the etymology, and the related Proto-Germanic comparandum only be listed only for further perusal. --Ivan Štambuk (talk) 12:52, 4 September 2016 (UTC)Reply
