How does one create a "Citations page"?[edit]

The first bullet of Wiktionary:Requested entries (Italian) suggests:

Consider creating a citations page with your evidence that the word exists instead of simply listing it here

but it neither explains *how* to create such a page nor does it give a link to such an explanation page.

@Steue: If the word you wish to cite is foo, you would create Citations:foo. Some examples are Citations:laldare, Citations:filinguello, etc. You don't have to use {{cite-book}} and its relatives, you can instead just provide the year, author, and title as plain text, but if you do use the template it formats citations nicely. 70.172.194.25 00:39, 10 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Thanks a lot. Do you also instigate (at the right place) that this information gets included in this page or all these pages?
