Etymology

Borrowed from Russian инглиизм (ingliizm). May be reanalyzed as Yngling (a Scandinavian royal dynasty) +‎ -ism, in analogy with the Russian word.

In Ynglist belief, the name refers to a fiery primordial radiance known as the "Ynglia" emanated by the supreme god "Ramha".
