Noun[edit]
illogician (plural illogicians)
- A person who uses illogical reasoning.
- 1889, Charlotte Endymion Porter, Shakespeariana, page 509:
- He thought, as Professor Huxley thought of certain illogicians, that they should be phlebotomized and put on low diet; that they needed a calm retreat, the soothing care of the nurse, and the restoring hand of the physician.
- 2010, James Skivington, The Miracle Man, page 153:
- Father Burke sighed. “Why does your Margaret need Saint Anthony's help?” He braced himself for the answer, which he felt would not be capable of prediction by a score of logicians, or, in this woman's case, illogicians.
