- Citrus hystrix, a species of fragrant, small lime native to Southeast Asia, the leaves of which are used in cooking for their citrus flavor.
Usage notes[edit]
- Since the term kaffir is now considered racist and highly offensive in other contexts, many modern references are recommending that the term makrut lime should be used instead.
