Usage notes[edit]

When used to modify a noun, triggers lenition of a following consonant-initial noun in the singular and h-prothesis of one in the plural; déag follows the noun.

The form aon deich a sé was prescribed by Peadar Ua Laoghaire in the 1920s, but it is unclear whether it has ever been used by native speakers.
