From Proto-Finnic *viiccidäk. Cognates include Finnish viitsiä, Ingrian viitsiä, and Votic viittsiä.

  1. to feel like (doing something), to be willing to make an effort, to be bothered to do sth
    Ma ei viitsi praegu välja tulla.
    I don't feel like coming out right now.
    Arvad, et ma viitsin oodata sinu järgi?
    You think I can be bothered to wait after you?
