'χατε ('chate)

  1. Contraction of είχατε (eíchate, you had).
    Να ’χατε λεφτά, όλα καλά θα ήταν.
    Na ’chate leftá, óla kalá tha ítan.
    If you had money, everything would be fine.

Usage notes[edit]

Almost exclusively follows να (na), το (to), τα (ta) or personal pronouns μου (mou), σου (sou), του (tou).
