Sino-Vietnamese word from 愛新覺羅. Ultimately from Manchu ᠠᡳᠰᡳᠨ
ᡤᡳᠣᡵᠣ (aisin gioro), the “gold” family (Aisin) of the Yilan (Gioro) clan of the Jianzhou Jurchens.
