Etymology[edit]

Inherited from Ottoman Turkish عاجزانه (ʿācizāne),[1][2] from Arabic عَاْجِز (ʕājiz, weak, feeble, helpless) +‎ Persian ـانه (-âne, adjectival suffix).[3]
