From συγκατάθεσις (sunkatáthesis, approval, assent) +‎ -ικός (-ikós), the former component morphologically analyzable as συγ- (sug-) +‎ κατάθεσις (katáthesis), from κατα- (kata-) + θέσις (thésis).
