    • 1581, Ostrog Bible, Judges 1.34:
      ꙗ҆́ко не попꙋстѝ и҆мъ сни́ти на равнинꙋ̀·
      ja҆́ko ne popustì i҆mŭ sníti na ravninù·
      for they would not suffer them to come down to the valley…
